Halter-training the crias from last season is a current job for many of us. It is a good idea to halter-train all crias, even if they are not destined for the show ring. Generally a halter trained alpaca is easier to handle and manage than one that is not.

This is also the time of year when we start to look at the cria from last season and assess which ones will join our various show teams.
